However, this message has been debunked by PYAfrica president, Ojo Olumiyiwa saying it wasn't true professor Oloyede said this but just misinterpreted by the media. He shared this some hours back on his Facebook timeline. See below...
"Sayz, I was not at Aso Rock to confirm the RATS invasion but was sure at the Jamb Policy meeting on the 21st and 22nd of this month. Well, I hail the media once again. I will repeat this post and hope it gets to the necessary..... Let me clear the air on this. Prof Oloyede never said cut off marks for Universities will be 120.
When asked by one of the admission officers present, on what cut off marks should be, he answered by saying Jamb can only look into the cut off mark set by Universities. He said it has been noted that it shouldn't go below 120 has agreed by his predecessors. Meanwhile, no University can go below 120 not that it is 120.
Same to the 100 by Polythecnic but not necessarily 100. This is pure common sense. No University will accept this in the first place if it was proposed. Some few pictures below for the doubting Thomas... NB: No media personnel was allowed during this meeting. Only principal officers from higher institutions. I also tried getting some information out through my IG page @Senolumuyiwa during the meeting. You can peruse over. Thanks"
